Evernym is building the next generation of identity infrastructure for the world, enabling trusted peer interactions between individuals, organizations, and things. Having created and released Sovrin, the first open-source distributed ledger network dedicated to ‘independent’ identity, Evernym works with leading companies, institutions, and NGOs to create and deploy new, private-by-design solutions which give the individual true control and ownership of their personal data.

We are a growing, global (London, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Belgrade) company helmed by a team with a track record of execution. We are redressing the fundamental imbalance between security, privacy, and utility which pervades the modern world, and we are looking for talented, adventurous, entrepreneurial folks to join us.

As you might imagine, we need some serious software development mojo to pull this off. We are expanding our team and we are very specifically looking for the right developer who wants to be part of our startup and growth.

We are looking for a person with Mobile development skills to work atop our technology stack.

On this team you will develop Evernym products that include mobile apps on iOS and Android. We are using React.Native, mostly. We have a UX designer who would be a close colleague, plus several other UI developers in remote locations.

We are solving problems that will enable people to trust their interactions and, at the same time, protect their personal data. This requires interesting approaches to UI workflows and interactive interfaces. This will be a challenging position offering strong growth as you build these products. Dive into advanced UX/UI work that delights our customers.

Requirements & Considerations

• 3+ years of professional software development experience delivering consumer applications.
• Proficiency in React.Native and compatible stack development tools.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Demonstrable experience in releasing mobile applications.
• Expert experience using TDD and Unit Testing.
• English proficiency (oral and written).
• Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or related discipline desired.

Attributes that would make you stand out:

• A background in full-stack software development.
• A background writing iOS and/or Android native applications.
• A track record of contributing to an open source community.
• Previous experience working with blockchains.

This is a regular, full-time position, based in our Belgrade office.
