Evernym is building the next generation of digital interactions between individuals, organizations, and things using cutting-edge blockchain technology. We knew for this technology to be truly trusted, no one could own it, it must be decentralized, so we created and released Sovrin, the first open-source blockchain dedicated to self-sovereign identity. Evernym works with leading companies, institutions and NGOs to create and deploy new private-by-design solutions which give individuals true control and ownership of their personal data.

About the Role

The crisis of digital trust is global in nature. As such, Evernym has sought out the best talent and perspectives from around the world. You will not be working with the best in a city, state or even country.

We’re not looking for your average person. Average is easy. What we’re doing is anything but. We want teammates to help us communicate the largest breakthrough since, well, the internet itself. The right candidate will uncover insights and simply and clearly build those insights into a strategy of marketing, advertising, social, earned-, owned- and paid-media. The right candidate will also help build and sustain an intelligent, thoughtful and agile marketing team as our needs grow.
The ideal candidate is a ‘full-stack’ SaaS marketer, who fluent in content creation and demand generation, and complement our Marketing Director.

Brass Tacks


  • Content creation – for content marketing lead generation, press releases and web copy. Further, understand how content can be used to drive awareness and drive inbound lead flow.
  • Social Media – devise and implement a social media strategy, focusing initially on Twitter.
  • Data-driven marketing – develop consistent, repeatable and measurable system and best practices for bringing our Biz-Dev team qualified leads.
  • Touchpoint strategies – Determine how and what we say in each market touchpoint. Web, social, owned/earned/paid. Evernym as a whole will benefit from knowing the discipline of great marketing.
  • Conference Czar – Assess “want vs. need” for the company’s desire to be in many places at once.
  • Product marketing – Help brand and market (w/ internal and external resources) our products as they become available.
  • Manage external resources – Source and manage high-quality experts within the marketing, advertising and lead generation discipline.
  • Working with Marketing Director – to establish consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Digital analytics reporting – Understanding and interpreting analytics for the executive team from all digital touchpoints the marketing team is involved in (Google, media, etc.)

Specific Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technology marketing, preferably in SaaS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and critical problem-solving skills
  • Experience building a data-driven lead generation model
  • An aptitude for crunching analytics to make thoughtful insights
  • No fear of jumping in the deep end and rolling up your sleeves
  • A knack for translating complex ideas into simple communications
